Mobile is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Mobile follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had a blast despite the warm weather, the visitor center attendant is the epitome of southern hospitality. The kids loved the scavenger hunt and looking for gnome doors. Plan to make it a stop every visit.

We had such a lovely visit to the Mobile Botanical Gardens. The gardens were peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of so many gorgeous plants and flowers. It was the perfect place to slow down, walk around, and enjoy nature for a couple hours. The staff and volunteers clearly put a lot of care into keeping everything so welcoming and enjoyable. The gift shop is full of local artisans work and they offer fun classes for the community. We’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the Mobile area, the Mobile Botanical Gardens is an absolute must-visit. Whether you are an avid gardener or just someone who appreciates a quiet, beautiful walk, this place has something special for you. **What I loved:** * **The Variety:** It’s rare to find a place that balances manicured, formal gardens with wild, untouched beauty so well. The cultivated areasβ€”especially the **Camellia WinterGarden** and the extensive **Azalea collections**β€”are stunning when in bloom. * **The Woodland Trails:** For a change of pace, the **Longleaf Conservation Forest** is incredible. It feels like stepping back in time to see what the Gulf Coast looked like naturally. It’s perfect for a bit of light hiking or just soaking in the local flora and fauna. * **Accessible & Relaxing:** I was really impressed by the **Fragrance and Texture Garden**. It’s so thoughtfully designed and makes for a very relaxing stroll. Plus, there are plenty of lovely spots to sit down, like the koi pond area, which is perfect if you want to bring a book or just enjoy a picnic. * **Atmosphere:** It’s never felt overcrowded when I’ve been, which makes it a perfect "recharge" spot
